Singing Guidelines

It’s essential to follow these guidelines to build the correct package. Only include the folders mentioned below

It is forbidden to add any kind of contact details or personal information to the files (including in ID3 tags, metadata, or filenames)

The delivery needs to have the correct structure. Make also sure that the WAV files are 44.1kHz/16-bit WAV and the MP3 files are 320kbps MP3. When you deliver, make sure to upload it into the google drive folder which we provided you. Upload the files directly without .zip

Package demo

We always appreciate if you also deliver (apart from the 3 vocal takes and the demo) harmonies, lower/higher octave, adlibs and wet vocals (with effects applied). Final vocal editing will be done by us.

Make sure you follow these rules

It's yours

You sung it yourself, and you own 100% of the rights of the recording before you send it to us. It doesn’t belong to anyone else, it’s not a collaboration track, and you’re not uploading it on anyone else’s behalf

No repeated recordings

Don’t just copy and paste a section to another part of the audio, to reduce the time you need to sing. All section of the vocals should be recorded independently.

High quality

Record on a quality microphone. Record in a quiet environment and have some sort of sound absorption to avoid hall. Adjust your voice to the vibe of the track.

Clear recording

Avoid background noises (such as construction nearby or people talking in the background) and avoid all unwanted noises such as pops and clicks to make crisp clear vocals

Use Metronome

To ensure accurate timing during recording, it’s recommended to use a metronome, which is essentially a rhythmic pulse that serves as a guide for maintaining a consistent beat.

Take your time

Record a few times until the recordings are perfect – also regarding timing (Record on the metronome track if possible to get better timing) and that you sing the notes in the correct pitch
